In the top picture, Fr. Jerry stands outside of his new residence at Mt. Carmel Home in Corpus Christi. His new home is great!

Pictured also are the movers and "decorators" of his new residence. The photos were taken on Sept. 2 when we moved him to the home.

Due to the threat of Hurricane Ike to Corpus Christi, we were able to have him here with us, and for the ACTS retreatants from Wednesday into Sunday. It was difficult to have him leave again. YET, he is so at peace in his new place.

Talk by Archbishop Chaput

Archbishop Chaput was in Australia for a talk to the participants at World Youth Day. He also spoke last year at St. John's University School of Law in Queens, New York. Click for the excellent talk titled, "Church and State Today: What Belongs to Caesar, and What Doesn't."

Go, Tell the Good News — 99.9 FM

As Catholic Christians it has always been part of our calling to evangelize. Never did we realize that we would do it in the wonderful way of radio!

The station, which should be up and running in about 18 months, will be able to broadcast for about a five mile radius. The call letters are KSGS-LP. The SGS stands for isters of ood hepherd. The frequency is 99.9 FM.

We will be sure to make an announcement when 99.9 is on the air!
